Quantum of Solace

Daniel Craig continues to be the dark, cold-blooded and steely Bond that he started in Casino Royale but its other aspects of the film that were a bit of a let down. The actual plot was not as strong as Royale and the use of product placement was a little disgusting. Being a Bond fan it was still very entertaining action film but i was expecting a little more from the plot and a little more for the characters to explore (although Bond's pain concerning Vespa was shown very well). I wanted a smart plot like The Dark Knight but instead it was a find-the-baddie-and-stop-him-dealio. Even Royale was more than that. Overall Solace was an enjoyable addition to the Bond series, especially if you are a fan of the new Daniel Craig Bond. Not so much you're not a fan at all, example being Roxy who was seeing the first Bond of her life and she fell asleep.
